To the village of Saranac Lake, I submit this State of the Village Report at the start of 2012.
It contains three parts, just as last year: our "report card" for 2011, "Issues and challenges: where we are today" and "plans and goals for 2012." This first part is published this day, with the other two following in a three-day series, all courtesy of the Adirondack Daily Enterprise as a public service, for which we offer our sincere thanks.
