Popular lecture series focuses on whole foods

SARANAC LAKE - Adirondack Health is offering its latest Community Lectures Series on the topic of whole foods.

"Whole Foods: What they are and why you'll want to eat them," is presented by Registered Dietitian Sabine Weber. As a local nutrition expert and member of the Adirondack Health staff, Sabine will share why it is important to eat whole foods and how they can improve quality of life. Discussion will focus on the nutritional, weight management and health values of whole foods, and some of the simple ways to boost intake and incorporate more whole foods into daily life making everyday meals healthier.

The presentation is open to the public, free of charge, and takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17 in the Redfield Board Room at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. To reserve a seat, call Kathy McHugh at 518-897-2321 or e-mail kmchugh@amccares.org.
