PAUL SMITHS - A Wilmington woman was taken to the hospital after a one-car rollover crash on state Route 30 near Hays Brook.

Tupper Lake-based state police said a vehicle driven by Caitlin Terry, 21, moved from its lane unsafely, rolled over and crashed into a National Grid utility pole on the side of the road.

Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department members responded to the scene at 11:22 a.m. with five members and one truck.

Terry complained of knee pain and was transported to Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake by the Saranac Lake Volunteer Rescue Squad, where she was treated and released.

She was later ticketed for moving from lane unsafely.

Firefighters stood by at the scene, assisted the rescue squad and returned to the fire station by 12:37 p.m.
