SARANAC LAKE - Adirondack Health is expanding the hours at its community health centers in Keene, Lake Placid and Tupper Lake.

Adirondack Health has recruited new medical staff in response to community input and plans to continue those efforts to meet local primary-care needs. The additional staff has resulted in expanded services at the Mountain Health Center in Keene to five days a week, and the addition of early evening hours two nights a week at both the Tupper Lake and Lake Placid health centers. In addition, the Tupper Lake Health Center will accept appointments on Saturdays.

Following are the new office hours at the community health centers:

Mountain Health Center (Keene): 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday

Lake Placid Health Center: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday

Tupper Lake Health Center: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

To schedule an appointment at the Mountain Health Center in Keene, call 518-576-9771; Lake Placid Health Center, 518-523-1717; and Tupper Lake Health Center, 518-359-7000.
