ALBANY (AP) - Federal prosecutors from the U.S. northern border are gathered in Lake Placid this week to discuss cooperation and sharing information on issues that range from security to smuggling people and drugs.
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is scheduled to address the gathering today.
Prosecutors from the Northern District of New York, whose border region extends from the Vermont state line through Cayuga County along Lake Ontario, are meeting in the Adirondack village after that.
