SARANAC LAKE - Mark Price scored two goals to lead the Beekmantown boys soccer team to a 2-0 Northern Soccer League victory over Saranac Lake on Friday at Schroeter's Field.

Price scored his first goal on a penalty kick at the 16:36 mark of the first half, then extended the lead at the 39:16 mark of the second on an assist from Zach Towel to give the Eagles control of the game.

"Beekmantown was really controlled in the first half and we struggled to keep up," said Saranac Lake coach Bill Wilson said. "In the second half, we picked it up and started to play more aggressively. Have to give the guys credit for their hustle in the second half."

Senior goalkeeper Ricky Schmidt kept the Red Storm (0-1) in contention throughout the game, stopping 10 shots that came his way.

Beekmantown goalie Derek Olsen made three saves.
