"The team did a nice job keeping the pressure on E-town's defense," said Lake Placid coach Heather Brewer. "Ayla Thompson played a strong game on defense and Payton Barney and Mackenzie Kemmerer had strong games up front."

The Blue Bombers outshot Elizabethtown 11-4 over the course of the game.

Lake Placid goalie Liz Leff stopped two shots, while Kearsten Ashline of Elizabethtown made six saves.

The Blue Bombers return to action Tuesday on the road against Moriah.
