Building back up

July 13, 2011
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
Employees of Rabideau Corp. work Tuesday to replace a retaining wall along the Saranac River that was undermined by flooding in late April and early May. The property, located off Dorsey Street, is owned by Anita Moore. Butch Blanchard is operating the excavator and Ronnie McDonald is working in the water. Clyde Rabideau, president of Rabideau Corp. and Saranac Lake’s mayor, said he secured a state Department of Environmental Conservation permit to do the work. He said the five-day project is expected to wrap up today.
