How it’s done

U.S. biathlete Susan Dunklee helps Kage Southerland, 12, of California, try target practice with a laser rifle Saturday at the Olympic Training Center for Olympic Day, the anniversary of the modern Olympics’ founding. Visitors got tours of the center, and many sports had booths and demonstrations set up — this biathlon demo had the longest lines.
