Lake Clear Presbyterian church will hold its worship services for the month of April at 9 a.m. Coffee hour will follow. All are welcome to attend.
On Maundy Thursday, April 21, at the Lake Clear Presbyterian church there will be a pot luck supper at 6 p.m. Please bring a dish to pass and you own place setting. Following the supper there will be a service with communion around the tables. Plan to attend and bring a friend.
The following are the regular church services with another list for Easter holiday only. St. John in the Wilderness church will hold its Mass at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and at 8 a.m. Sunday. Gabriels Assumption will hold its Mass at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. St. Paul's in Bloomingdale has an Anticipated Mass at 4 p.m. on Saturday. All are welcome to attend any of the above.
Easter schedule: Wednesday, April 20 will be confession at St. Bernard from 6 to 8 p.m.; Holy Thursday, April 21 will have morning prayer at St. Bernard's from 9 a.m. with Mass at St. Bernard at 7 p.m.; Good Friday, April 22 morning prayer at St. Bernard's at 9 a.m.; Confession at St. Bernard's at noon and stations of the Cross at St. Bernard's 4 p.m.; Stations of the Cross at Gabriel Assumption at 7 p.m.; Holy Saturday, April 23, there will be morning prayer at St. Bernard's at 9 a.m.; and April 23, there will be an Easter Vigil Mass at St. Bernard's at 8 p.m.
On Easter Sunday, April 24, there will be a Mass at St. Bernard's at 7 a.m., St. John in the Wilderness church at 8 a.m., Gabriels Assumption church at 9:30 a.m., St. Bernard's at 10 a.m. and St. Paul's at 11 a.m. You are invited to attend any and all of the above services and bring a friend.
There will be no card party the month of April held at St. John in the Wilderness church hall. See everyone in May.
The bookmobile will be at the Lake Clear post office parking lot from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 26. Stop and pick up your reading material.
Advance notice: Charlie's Inn will be holding a centennial celebration July 15, 16, 17, which will honor the railroad train station located in front of Charlie's Inn.
Jill Brockway is lookiung for memorabilia or any information about the train station. She can be reached at 891-9858. At one time during the celebration, the Paul Smith's College stagecoach, Paul Smiths Woodmen's Team and a train will be present. Stop by and enjoy the fun.
The Lake Clear seniors had a wonderful pork roast dinner with all the trimmings April 5. Around 25 people enjoyed the meal and each others company.
The Tri-Lakes Snowmobilers Inc wish to thank everyone who made their Poker Run such a sucess. The money was donated to Life Flight. Now that their season is almost done, they would like to thank all Franklin Ccounty snowmobilers for their support and help. It was a great winter.
A big thank-you from the Methodist church in Saranac Lake to everyone who helped make the past rummage sale such a sucess. We really appreciate everyone who donated, everyone who helped and especially everyone who came and purchased items.
