The Point tops list of unique hotels

SARANAC INN - The Point tops a list of unique hotels that a Forbes article says people should see before they die.

Travel writer John Giuffo highlights the fact that staff at The Point, a luxury resort on Upper Saranac Lake, don't reveal its location or allow people on the property unless they are guests with confirmed reservations.

Giuffo writes that the seclusion, beauty, luxury and a world-class kitchen staff at The Point "surpass the expectations of even the most discriminating guests."

The bucket list also names Hong Kong's oldest hotel, an underwater resort in Fiji and the old-world-style Four Seasons George V hotel in Paris.
