TUPPER LAKE - The village board appointed a replacement Monday night for Water and Sewer Superintendent Bob Fuller, who will retire at the end of the year.
Mark Robillard, who has worked for the department for 10 years, will officially take over the position on Sunday.
"We think Mark is the right guy for the job," said village Mayor Mickey Desmarais. "We wish him luck and congratulate him."

Desmarais called Robillard personable and intelligent.
Fuller plans to remain with the village part time for probably a few years. Desmarais said Fuller will help Robillard through his transition to the position, especially helping him through the budget process this spring.
Fuller has worked for the village for more than 30 years.
