JOHNSTOWN - The North Country Community College men's soccer team continued its winning ways Saturday, beating Fulton-Montgomery 3-0 for its fourth win in a row.

The victory rounded out the Region III regular season for the Saints, who finished 8-4-2.

Ernest Afful, Joe Hollis and Randy Danso scored for the Saints on Saturday.

"(We) controlled the ball for much of the game and were able to create chances from possessing the ball into wide spaces off of quality combination plays," said NCCC coach Jeff Panik.

Afful connected with Earvin Esale for the Saints first goal 23 minutes into the game. Afful assisted on the second goal of the game, sending a cross into the box that was collected by Hollis and knocked into the goal.

NCCC defender Aaron Segura pushed forward late in the second half and crossed the ball into the area where Danso was waiting.

Danso has scored in the Saints last four games. He is the team's leading scorer.

The Saints return to action Tuesday with a non-league game on the road at Paul Smith's at 7 p.m.

NCCC is waiting for its placement in the NJCAA Region III playoff bracket, which will be released on Wednesday.
