On the beautiful afternoon of July 3, 2010, Trisha A. Wickwire and John D. McLean were joined in marriage on the shore of Allen Falls Reservoir at the bride's parents home in Parishville, NY.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Lois Wickwire of Parishville, NY. The groom is the son of Dan and Mary McLean of Lake Clear, NY.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. Janet LaCroix of Potsdam.
Jason McLean, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Darren Hefelfinger, Matthew Shanks, Jeff Clark, Dan Meehan, Alec McLean, Dante Iannotti, Josh Saeli, and Jacob Saeli. Parker Blanchard was the ring bearer.
Karen Saeli and Cheri Iannotti, sisters of the bride, were the matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Zepp, Susan Sternburg, Christina Grant, Debbie Infante, Gabriella Iannotti, and Kaylee McLean. Tori Iannotti was the flower girl.
Trisha graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a Bachelor's degree in Politics and Spanish and received her Master's degree. She spent last summer in Peru on a fellowship from St. Lawrence University studying the Quechua language. She is now a Spanish teacher at Saranac Lake High School.
John graduated from Paul Smith's College with an Associates degree in Land Surveying. He is currently employed by Geomatics Land Surveying in Saranac Lake.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Kingdom Trails in East Burke, VT. They mountain biked on an extensive trail network for non-motorized activity which was recently voted as the Best Trail Network in North America by Bike Magazine in their annual Reader's Poll.
The couple reside in Saranac Lake with their dog Boscoe, AKA Butters.
