SARANAC LAKE - Nobody was seriously injured in a three-car accident on Lake Flower Avenue late Thursday morning.

A 2008 Cadillac driven by Manfred Holl, 70, with passenger Erika Roland, 79, headed south, was stopped in traffic for a vehicle turning into McDonald's restaurant. A 1995 Buick driven by 76-year-old Eugene Holloway, with passenger Janet Holloway, was stopped behind them. A 2002 Pontiac driven by J. Hicks-Moriarty, 29, rear-ended the Holloway vehicle, pushing it into the Cadillac, according to village police.

Janet Holloway was transported to Adirondack Medical Center, complaining of lower back pain. She was treated and released, according to AMC spokesman Joe Riccio. Hicks was ticketed for following too closely.

The accident was reported to police at 11:40 a.m. The Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department also responded and assisted with traffic control and patient care.
