First 24-hour ATM in Long Lake

August 12, 2009
By JESSICA COLLIER, Enterprise Staff Writer

LONG LAKE - Community Bank announced plans Wednesday to install the first 24-hour ATM in Long Lake.

Two ATMs exist there now, but one is in the Northern Borne, the grocery store that is only open a few months out of the year, and another is in Kickerville Mobil, which is only open when the store is. The local Stewart's shop has an HTM - a "human teller machine" through which cashiers give customers bank withdrawals - which is also open only during store hours.

"One of our customers' first requests when we took over this branch was for us to put in an ATM," Mark Tryniski, president and CEO of Community Bank N.A., said in a prepared statement.

The ATM will be installed in the branch's vestibule in August and will be accessible from the front and back doors of the branch.
