Dante Fragassi

ROCHESTER - Dante Fragassi, 80, died Sunday, July 19, 2009.

He was born November 5, 1928 in Lake Placid.

Mr. Fragassi was employed at General Motors for 41 years. He retired in 1993. He was a family man, the father of seven children. He worked two jobs and enjoyed bowling.

Survivors include his wife Barbara (Bola) Fragassi; children: Audrey (Tom) Marrocco, Nick Fragassi, Mike (Mary Jo) Fragassi, Joe (Barbara) Fragassi, Annmarie (George) Giordano and Rosemary (Peter) Disalvo; sisters and brother: Elizabeth (Roy) Anderson, Phillip (Peggy) Fragassi, Clara Perrine and Beatrice (Anthony) DiBella; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Sperina Reiter.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester, N.Y. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 36 Armstrong Road, Rochester, N.Y. followed by internment in Holy Sepulchre Cemtery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the National Parkinson Foundation, 1501 NW 9th Ave. Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL 33136.
