Isabelle E. Sullivan

SARANAC LAKE - Isabelle E. Sullivan, 86, of 1795 state Route 3, Bloomingdale, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Fairfield, Vt. on Feb. 17, 1923, she was the daughter of Morton and Hazel (Berry) Pardee. She married Donald A. Sullivan on June 11, 1967. He predeceased her on Oct. 18, 2003.

Mrs. Sullivan had been a resident of Bloomingdale since 1972, coming from Olmstedville.

She is survived by two daughters: Myrna Martell and her husband John of St. Albans, Vt. and Deanna Gonyea and her husband Dale of Bloomingdale; one brother, Francis Paradee of Fairfax, Vt.; one sister, Barbara Guyette of Fairfax, Vt.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one son, John Paradee; one sister, Hazel Draper; and one granddaughter, Lisa Paradee.

Calling hours will take place at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 2 at St. Paul's Church in Bloomingdale with the Rev. Thomas Kornmeyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
