Delaney, Doolen receive awards from Clarkson U.

POTSDAM?- Matthew P. Delaney, a resident of Lake Placid and senior interdisciplinary engineering and management major at Clarkson University, has been awarded the Dr. Charles T. Mosier '72 Memorial Scholarship Award. This award was created in 2002 by his wife, Dr. Donna Mosier '78 M.S. and '95 Ph.D.; son Aaron '03; former and current students; and friends and colleagues to recognize and support a senior student in interdisciplinary engineering and management who plans to seek a graduate business degree at Clarkson. This award recognizes a student who displays high academic achievement, teamwork, collegiality, willingness to help others and the spirit for lifelong learning. Delaney will be given a scholarship towards graduate work and be known as the Charles T. Mosier '72 Scholar.

Shawn P. Doolen, a resident of Tupper Lake and senior at Clarkson University, has been awarded the John W. Graham Jr. Leadership Award. This recognition is awarded each year to a School of Business senior who has combined demonstrated academic competence with a substantial contribution to the Clarkson community. Doolen will receive a cash award.

Doolen also received the Career Center Outstanding Student Service Award. This award is presented to the Clarkson University student and/or organization that has made the greatest contribution to enhancing career center and employer offerings through volunteering their time to host information sessions, serving as employer ambassadors or volunteering their time as "Yellow Hat Helpers" at career fairs. Recipients of this award will receive a monetary award and have their names inscribed on a plaque to be hung in the career center.
