GABRIELS - Members of the Paul Smiths-Gabriels and St. Regis Falls volunteer fire departments held a vehicle extrication drill at Tucker Farm on Saturday. Members practiced on three vehicles, performing vehicle stabilization, hood removal, electrical system deactivation, windshield removal and more.
The goal of extrication training is to provide for quick and safe removal of patients from vehicles involved in an accident.
