Trudeau Institute rated third-best place to work in academia in U.S.

SARANAC LAKE - The Trudeau Institute in Saranac Lake was named the third-best place to work in academia in the U.S., according to a survey done by The Scientist magazine.

Criteria includes quality of mentoring, infrastructure and environment, pay, research resources and tenure.

The number-one workplace was the J. David Gladstone Institutes in San Francisco, with Princeton University coming in at number two.

The complete list, along with the best places to work in academia internationally, will be featured in this month's issue of the magazine. Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel tops the world list.
