Darby Moore and Susan Harrington were married on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Chapel Island on Upper Saranac Lake with Dr. Newton Greiner officiating.
Susan is the daughter of Walter and Joan Pfitzner of Fruita, Colorado, and the late Ruth Pfitzner of Florida. Darby is the son of the late Susan Moore and the late Barry Moore of Albany.
The matron of honor was Amber Harrington, daughter of the bride. Amy Isabella, a good friend of the couple, was the bridesmaid. The best man was Brent Duprey, and the groomsman was Sheldon Hayward, both good friends of the couple. Amelia Rose Harrington, granddaughter of the bride, was the flower girl. Readings were by Margaret Roberts, aunt of the groom, and Bruce McWhinnie, a good friend of the family.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Joseph Harrington, of Florida.
The bride wore a wedding dress by Alfred Angelo of ivory satin with hunter green trim and train, and carried a bouquet of dark purple wisteria, white roses and ivy. The maid of honor and bridesmaid wore long hunter green satin gowns with ivory trim and slight train also by Alfred Angelo, and carried light purple wisteria and ivy bouquets. The groom, best man and groomsman wore black tuxedos with white shirts with hunter green herringbone vests.
After the ceremony, the couple left the island in style in a 24' Hackercraft. The reception was held at the Saranac Lake Golf Course in Ray Brook.
The couple honeymooned in Cape Cod and reside in Saranac Lake.
