having been a woodstock ny resident for 20yrs,before landing here i will agree. the colony of the arts, once had the beautiful ecology,so inspiring, filled with crafts persons, writters, painters, and musicans.that same potential exists here. but, just don't go and make it to "commercial" you'l be susprised how fast people will lose interest.

Thanks, Peter, for your kind words and insights about Saranac Lake ArtWorks. We couldn't be as successful as we are if we didn't have the support of the community, who comes to our events and buys our art. And remember, because these are artists who live and work here, that money stays in our community! We are also very grateful to our generous Business Sponsors and event sponsors. Many thanks to all of you.

Sandy Hildreth Past Secretary, Saranac Lake ArtWorks
