WE should not be providing arms to any country period. We are the biggest enabler of warfare in the world. I think it's a safe assumption that many of the arms and munitions used against our forces in the field originated within the US. It's obvious the corporations that purvey death weapons don't care as long as profits remain high.

Question: Why is it ok to get involved in Syrian Rebels, yet it was not ok to oust Saddam Hussein? Tell me the difference? And what is the difference in sending arms to ElSalvador, and now Syria?

We should not be involved in Syria, Egypt, or any muslim country that is at war with itself. Turkey on the other hand is an ally. We have a vested interest there.

You're concerned about the atrocities of Assad's regime but opposed to giving the people resisting it the tools to fight back? What sort of political and economic measures that haven't been tried yet do you envision as having any impact at all?

The people are fighting a brutal dictator. Sure, some of the opposition are religious fundamentalists, but most are not. It seems like a morally unambiguous situation to me. I'm not saying we should send troops there but I don't see why we shouldn't be giving the rebels the weapons they need to be more effective.

Al-Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood are fighting Iran and Hezbollah for control of Syria. All four groups have attacked the USA and want to destroy western democracy. Terrorists are killing each other by the hundreds every week. Why are we trying to stop this war?

We need to do everything in our power to keep our Enemies at each others throats as long as we can.
