Lawmakers right to fix military problem

May 31, 2013

Clearly, the U.S. armed forces approach to preventing sexual assaults is not working. A year ago, the Pentagon estimated about 19,000 members of the military had been sexually assaulted in 2011....

Sure banned, go for it. You've probably already consummated the marriage.

Gay rape in the military is definitely a problem, but it's nothing new, it's been a problem since Ancient Greece. And it's not a "gay" problem, either -- like in prison or in boarding schools, most male-on-male rapists in the military self-identify as heterosexual and wouldn't touch another man in an environment where there were women around. Some people are just predators.

Must have been some rocks turned over, all the homophobes crawled out. Prober, since the press isn't informing us of gay rape in the military and the military itself isn't publicizing it how do you know how widespread it is?

CIB, gay rape exceeds hetero by 20%? Which right wing talk show blowhard told you that, that's ridiculous.

Maybe some of you can explain to me why you get so excited about the thought of male on male sex. It seems to be on your mind more so than it is for gay men, or maybe it's that you're not quite clear on your own sexuality.

Now we can see the reality of the Gay agenda in action. Man on man rape out of control and the defense of our nation at risk. Who in their right mind actually believed gays want to fight for America?

Legalizing prostitution is the wrong thing to do, period. After DADT was repealed, male attacks on males have increased 20 fold, and the press wont tell you that, because its against their political agenda. Simplistic views of the military is part of the problem with people that have never served or have a negative view of the military in the first place. So misguided they are, Obiwan!. Second of all, the social engineering that has eroded the quality of today's forces is indicative of the micro management of today's society in general. the over regulation. By the time ten years has gone by, there will be no military left, rather a national police force.

rape is almost doubled since the great mistake lifted don't ask don't tell and don't touch.

Troops need gay rape self defense training during hand to hand combat training!

Now that gays can serve openly male on male rape exceeds female rape by 20%. The Gaying of our Armed forces is working just as planned.

I agree about legalizing prostitution for too many reasons to list here. But isn't it the military leaders who determine who is fit to serve. They have lowered the bar. All they want to know is can you fire a gun and follow orders.

Forcible rape should be a capital or at least life sentence offense. This is especially true in a war zone where trust among fellow soldiers is essential.

I can appreciate the military leaderships problem. It's difficult to train people to kill others without compunction and accept the death of innocents including children while at the same time asking them to respect vulnerable comrades.
