it's better to have war with them now rather than later,as i don't want to see us trying to kick the can down the rd as we do so often to solve problems...we cancelled a planned exercise to placate them. we need to stay calm and hold our course steady we are so wishy washy the entire world no longer respects us. there is no other way to get their attention....if we wait till they have the capability to send a nuke missle to our mainland we will suffer terrible consequences!!!!!!!!!!!!we to often stick our gi's on the ground and they die viet nam, iraq, afghanistan and others.north korea and iran are real threats to us and we pretend not to notice the direction they are taking i DON'T want to see boots on the ground.......not again, not ever.we can take care of this by air and sea.innocent people will die, but we are at the point that we can only decide whose innocent people will die...ours or theirs. to figure out how bad things could get, look at how n korea treats their own.

title should be: avoiding the issue. sad little dictator, doesn't realise his airforce and launch capabilties would be reduced to quater size rubble in about 48hrs. i just love the morrons who think we'r threatened by china, another 3rd world military. you gotta get over this cowardice stuff guys? remember, americas military is the best on this entire planet why you think communist countries gave up the cold war.

We won the Cold War because the Soviet economy was a basket case that eventually collapsed. The size of our military wasn't the deciding factor there. We never went to war with the Soviet Union.

You can argue about whether we lost Vietnam or chose to withdraw or didnt have the political will to do what it took to win or whatever, but at the end of the day after tens of thousands of American dead the communists ended up winning control of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Not the outcome we wanted. As for Afghanistan, were set to withdraw fully next year and the Taliban is still a powerful threat to the Afghan forces. Again, not what we wanted.
