How about paying down some of that tens of billions of dollars of debt the state has? Noooo, that would make too much sense.

or not giving it to just families? What about everyone with an income under a certain amount?

Also- how much is this NCCC "Inauguration" costing the college? No raises for 3 years for staff and they are spending thousands of dollars on a Coronation? Crazy

How about this idea? Stop buying up tens of thousands of acres of forest that noone will ever use. Or how about selling 75% of the land to businesses and people willing to work the land for profit, thereby creating a tax base to alleviate tax burdens across the Adirondack Compound? Hmmm? And yes it is a bribe from the King of NY.

Certainly sounds like a vote getter...Andy's spindoctors should have thought it thru a bit better. Also, got to agree that Mrs. Little should not have endorsed it w/o looking at the big picture. Giving back money to only families is certainly unfair to the rest of the taxpayers, who don't have one or more extra deductions. To give rebates to high end earners is a bit troubling as well. This is not fair to all other taxpayers. It would be better to return money to school districts and hospitals, if so much is floating around.

Isn't any incentive offered to a specific group while excluding others a political bribe? I, personally, fall w/in the identified group here and won't be returning my check. A definite step in efforts to boost a lagging economy.

How about they take less of my money in the first place and let me decide how to best utilize my own financial resources?
