The Adirondack Club and Resort is a development proposed for Tupper Lake's Big Tupper Ski Area and the land around it. It's the biggest project ever to submit a complete application to the state Adirondack Park Agency. Developers want to overhaul the ski area and build 651 housing units in 323 buildings, plus various amenities including a spa, a marina and an equestrian center. The APA currently has the project in an adjudicatory hearing to examine the potential impacts it might have on the environment and the town. I'm blogging for most of the hearing process with wifi donated by The Wild Center. Thanks!
