Thank you speech
November 7, 2012 - John Stack
Thank you for granting me another four year to lead this great nation. I would not be here today without the help of many people. First I’d like to thank of course Sarah Palin. Of course her running as John McCain’s VP pick sure helped me in 2008. Now in 2012, with her continuous idiotic minded rhetoric has helped countless people choose to never vote Republican again. To Rush Limbaugh who pushed my lead among women higher than I could have ever hoped. To Michele Bachmann, who took a near certain win in Minnesota and turned it into a dogfight as well as her endless polarization of every issue imaginable, and for her to remind voters again that single minded demagoguery isn’t who we want leading the country. To Chris Christie, the bombastic governor of New Jersey who showed that politics is really just a show. When it came down to an actual emergency, Christie showed it only matters if you get the job done, not your party. Thank you Sandy for allowing me to show my presidential qualities at just the right time. Thank you Todd Akin for pointing out to many how out of touch the GOP is with today’s women. Thank you Matt Doheny and Doug Hoffman for turning a reliable GOP district into a Democratic part of NY. Thanks Wendy Long for being a sacrificial lamb for Kirsten Gillibrand so the Senate stays in Democratic hands for years to come.
Thank you Rick Perry for running for president. Now that we know more about you, we can see your style of economic recovery is flooding an area with minimum wage jobs and poor schools is a bad plan. Thanks for pointing out that religious hegemony (ie- abstinence only education) is a straight line to actually having the highest rate of teen births out of wedlock in the nation (among other national leadership for many undesirable teen preganancy statistics).
Thank you John Boehner for the incredible obstructionist policies over the last 4 years that voters recognized as our real roadblock to recovery. Thank you Eric Cantor for voting to repeal Obamacare 34 times showing that the GOP doesn’t really care for people, but for corporations. Also for continuously wasting time and energy in the House to chase Obamacare like Don Quixote chasing windmills. Thank you Pastor John McTernan for his bigoted views blaming Hurricane Sandy on Obama and homosexuals. This was one of the best reasons for separation of church and state and for people to vote their conscience, not blindly listen to their religious leaders. Thank you Tea party Nuts. In Indiana, they defeated incumbent Richard Lugar in the primary, only to have Richard 'Babies by rape are god's gift' Mourdock lose to Democrat Joe Donnely. And to round out the dynamic duo, Tea Party backed Todd 'legitimate rape' Akin loses to Claire McCaskill. As well as Joe Walsh. Thanks for bringing out so many people to show your style will not be accepted for a while. So, thank you all who have done such a great job at preserving my presidency for another 4 years…
