Just for fun: What athlete would make a good POTUS?

November 6, 2012 - Chris Morris
No election news to report on at the moment, so here's a fun topic:

Which famous athlete would make a good president?

There are plenty of examples of college and professional athletes making the leap to politics. Bill Bradley, Dwight Eisenhower and Jack Kemp come to mind.

What about modern sports stars? Tim Tebow? Robert Griffin III? LeBron James? Who has the sort of traits that would translate well from the arena of sports to the arena of politics?

Also, ESPN has a fun list of athletes who (sort of) share a name with a president.

Think about it, then share your thoughts. And before you share, re-read the headline of this post. This is just for fun - something to pass the time while we wait for the polls to close.

I rarely share my thoughts, but this feels like a safe topic. Here's my list: Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Kevin Durant.
