Bisso gets Conservative nod

August 1, 2012 - Chris Morris
Plattsburgh educator Karen Bisso will be on the Conservative Party line in the Nov. 6 election.

Bisso is among three Republicans vying for New York's new 115th Assembly District; the other candidates are Cadyville businessman David Kimmel and incumbent Janet Duprey of Peru. All three will square off in the Sept. 13 Republican primary.

Bisso received the New York State Conservative Party's endorsement last week. In a release issued by Bisso campaign team, it's stated that "Karen was chosen by the Conservative Party because of her strong stand on lowering taxes, fighting waste, and eliminating overbearing regulations."
