Tarantino formally announces Assembly bid

June 26, 2012 - Chris Morris
Glens Falls lawyer Dennis Tarantino made his candidacy for New York's new 114th Assembly District official on Monday.

Tarantino, a Democrat who lost to Assemblywoman Teresa Sayward, R-Willsboro, in 2004, will take on Queensbury town Supervisor Dan Stec, a Republican, in this fall's election.

Tarantino officially announced his candidacy in Glens Falls. This from the Post Star:

"Some people think that this seat is one that should be given to someone by a person or a political party. That is not true," he said. "The Assembly seat in this district belongs to all of us."
