Live from the state GOP convention (sort of)

March 16, 2012 - Chris Morris
Ray Scollin of Saranac Lake, Republican state committeeman for Franklin County, will be checking in with me throughout the day from the Republican Party's state convention in Rochester.

Here's what Ray has so far:

"It looks like after lunch will begin the designation of candidates for US Senate. Currently, the meeting has begun and the morning session appears to be housekeeping activities. We had a quorum call vote, adoption of agenda and rules, and appointment of committees by Chairman Cox."

He also said: "Chairman Cox just introduced our keynote speaker, Hon. George Pataki, Former Governor of New York State."

He also sent a couple pictures, which are included in this post.

Check back for more later.

Oh yeah, Rye town Supervisor Joe Carvin announced today he won't run for Senate.
