| | Starting off with a wastewater stipulation, APA on issue 8May 4, 2011 - Jessica CollierWe're starting on this lovely day (just kidding, it's quite rainy, if you're not reading this post today) by discussing a stipulation and cross-examination of APA engineer Shaun LaLonde. The stipulation outlines exactly what Preserve Associates' plans are for wastewater treatment, since it's been unclear and things have changed several times up until now. I think part of that is that they're altering the plans due to DEC regulation changes. The project still has a notice of incomplete application from the DEC, issued in October I think, and have not submitted any new materials since. According to the stipulation, the eastern great camp lots would be served by individual on-site wastewater treatment systems. Great camp lots 27 and 28 and the 44 single-family homes in the Lake Simon View subdivision would connect to the village sewer district 23 through proposed sewer district 27 and treated by village-owned treatment works. The rest, including great camp lots 1-19, would be treated by a community wasteswater treatment system that would be built as part of the project. The stipulation was worked out to make sure everyone is discussing the same plans when we get into that issue. LaLonde is now being cross-examined on Issue 8, the wetland issue that took up most of the day yesterday. LaLonde couldn't be here yesterday.
