Boat launch use OK

Colleen Parker just said she spoke with DEC rep Scott Abrahamson, who attended the hearing yesterday. She said DEC would consider ACR users members of the public, so they would be able to use the boat launch. The issue here is that the state generally doesn't allow for state launch sites for business uses. The ACR would not charge its residents for using the valet service it plans there.

She just said she believes that the launch has enough capacity for ACR users, but if it doesn't, Abrahamson told her that DEC would consider adding another launch lane to the site. It would be a DEC project, but the APA would have jurisdiction to oversee because it's under the Bog River Unit Management Plan.
