Lunch break

March 22, 2011 - Jessica Collier
So far we've gotten through a few opening statements: Preserve Associates, APA staff, the village of Tupper, the Tupper town and planning board, the Tupper Lake Chamber of Commerce, Franklin County, the Adirondack Council and Preserve Associates. I'm going to try to do a post on each party's opening statements (especially if they were oral; some were mainly written), but there isn't time right now. But basically, there were no surprises. We've heard a lot of this before, and we'll hear a lot of it again.

The turnout is relatively light compared to what I expected today — about 55 people total, including APA and hearing staff, stenographers, and press. There's about 20 open seats. You can bet it will only decline from there.
