When heard young people speak about learning to ski at Big Tupper, it made me think back to 60 years ago when I first started skiing and how big a part of my life it was.

Have skied all over the Adks, have never had the wonderful feeling of spirit, volunteerism, community pride as I have when skiing at Big Tupper. It's run by volunteers now. It can't sustain being run by volunteers. When saw timetable for project, would request that Foxman would raise up the priority of the ski slope on the build-out schedule. "The ski center is already there, it's alive, but it can't be sustained in it's present condition."

(grumbles from the audience about how he won't be able to afford that)
