For a lot of people this is a very emotional issue. It is for me as well.

We have 3 generations of people who ski here.

Governments are campaigning against obesity - why would we turn down a ski slope, that could help with that campaign?

"We need this project in Tupper Lake. We need to support this project."

Understand there are people who live outside the area who are writing letters against the project. That makes me very emotional.

We don't ask for what they ask for downstate. We've learned to help each other.

"This project will make a difference, not only for Tupper Lake, but for the whole North Country." "It's not just Tupper Lake, it's New York state that needs this."
