Kevin M. O’Reilly

Kevin Michael O’Reilly passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017, in Wilmington.

He was born July 25, 1961 in Queens. As a child and into his teen years he competed in swimming and roller hockey. He attended Arch Bishop Molloy High School where he graduated in 1978.

After high school, he worked as a plumber until he moved to Lake Placid in 1985.

Soon after he met the love of his life, his wife Donna. They were an instant connection. In 1992, they gave birth to their daughter Kelly Ann. His greatest joy in life was becoming a father and sharing a special bond with his daughter.

He continued his education in 2009 and graduated North Country Community College in 2011 as a registered nurse.

Kevin was an avid golfer and a passionate sports fan. His favorite teams include the New York Jets, Mets, Knicks and Rangers. He also took great joy in entertaining his grandchildren with his singing.

He is survived by his wife Donna O’Reilly, daughter Kelly Ann O’Reilly and her fiance Jason Wemette; his sons Philip Beaney and his partner Jennifer and Michael Beaney and his wife Michelle; his sister Kathleen Van Blarcom and her husband Dennis; his brothers John O’Reilly and his wife Donna, Tim O’Reilly and his wife Linda; his nephews Owen Jr., Dennis Jr., Sean, Michael, Timothy II, Liam and John; his nieces Jacqueline, Meghan and Brittany; and his grandchildren Madeline, Casey, Brooke and Briar — we love you Papa Kevin!

He was preceded by his parents John and Patricia and his brother Owen.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 30 at the M.B. Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Lake Placid. Burial will follow at Saint Agnes Cemetery in Lake Placid.
