Art Walk’s last hurrah of the season is tonight (Thursday, Sept. 21)

SARANAC LAKE — Tonight is the last chance to catch this season’s Third Thursday Art Walk from 5 to 7:30 pm.

Explore the art galleries, stop in the shops, grab a bite to eat or drink and enjoy an evening in the unique downtown area.

Sandra Hildreth’s presentation of “Adirondack Light: Plein air paintings of the Adirondacks” will be on display as the music of the Rustic Riders plays at the Adirondack Artist Guild.

The Paint and Palette Art Association’s Art Show is opening at the Saranac Lake Free Library’s Cantwell Room. Refreshments will be served.

Cape Air has an interesting display of art work by Artworks members. Ginny West will be performing on the hammered dulcimer.

Heidi Gutersloh’s show “Down on the Farm: Farm living expressed in colorful, realistic and whimsical oil paintings” is featured at Northwind Fine Arts Gallery. Mike Shepard will perform songs.

Eleanor Sweeney is presenting her work at Nori’s Village Market and the Saranac Laboratory Museum/HSL will be open with the Roaring ’20s display.

Music will fill the park as Andrea Villiere brings her sound healing tools and instruments to Berkeley Green.

There will be many more artists and musicians scattered through downtown.
