LAKE PLACID — The state Department of Environmental Conservation announced Monday that the Lake Placid boat launch will be temporarily closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday until 4 p.m. Thursday for repairs.

A press release from the department says that DEC crews will sweep the parking lot and perform scheduled maintenance.
