Senior Outing Club will visit Loj

SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Village at Will Rogers Senior Outing Club’s March event will be held on Tuesday, March 27, featuring a visit to Adirondak Loj for hiking or snowshoeing and a lecture on Adirondack owls by a Loj naturalist.

This program is open to the public. There is a $5 fee for the hike and talk. A luncheon will be provided ($15 per person) and includes tax and tip. Snowshoes will be provided by the Loj.

Those attending are asked to wear good walking shoes and clothing for potentially cool or inclement weather. Departure will be from Will Rogers at 10 a.m. Call 518-891-7117 to RSVP.

Saranac Village’s Senior Outing Club is open to all seniors (55 and older) interested in venturing out for moderate activity at various locations around the area. Activities are held on the last Tuesday of every month. The club’s mission is to “offer seniors the chance to enjoy outdoor adventures with companionship, safety and fun.”
