Tri-Lakes Job Fair returns March 14

SARANAC LAKE — A job fair with benefits for both job seekers and employers is planned for Wednesday, March 14.

The Adirondack Daily Enterprise presents the third annual Tri-Lakes Job Fair, which will take place from noon to 4 p.m. in North Country Community College Spark’s Athletic Complex.

The Adirondack Daily Enterprise is partnering with the college to promote this event that will encompass job opportunities from hospitality to health care.

“The need is evident with the increase in businesses looking for skilled and/or unskilled workers,” Enterprise Publisher Catherine Moore explained. “This will be our third annual job fair and we expect this to be well attended as previous years and might be the largest job fair in the Tri-Lake’s area.

“It is well represented by the business community due to publicizing it heavily to the audience who use our classified employment section in print and on”

Partnering with NCCC serves students considering careers in the community, and it is also an opportunity for local businesses’ to share their needs and ideas through networking.

Participating vendors can start setting up as early as 10 a.m. and meet and greet others over light fare and beverages available at 11 a.m.

The Enterprise will publish a special Get the Job section that will be inserted in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the Lake Placid News, and distributed to schools, as well as available at the event. It will be filled with articles pertinent to job seeking and hiring.
