Dew Drop romance, 50 years later

Jim and Betty Raby stop by the former Dew Drop Inn in Saranac Lake Thursday afternoon to celebrate their engagement, which occurred at the then-bustling restaurant. Today is the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary, and they brought three of their children and five grandchildren from their home in Turner, Maine, to Saranac Lake to show their family their old stomping grounds. Betty Raby, whose maiden name is Fitcher, is a 1965 graduate of Saranac Lake High School.
