SARANAC LAKE – Rising Star Productions presents “Pippi Longstocking: The Family Musical” directed by McCayla Quinn.

The spirited and quirky Pippi Longstocking returns to Villekulla Cottage, awaiting her pirate father’s return. With her horse and monkey Mr. Nelson in tow, the town is turned upside down by Pippi’s stuff-snuffering antics, her quest to learn pluttification and her inability to behave properly in public.

This year’s fall production is being held at Pendragon Theatre in Saranac Lake. Performances began Wednesday and continue at 7 p.m. today and Friday, plus 2 p.m. Saturday.

“Pippi Longstocking” features the talent of: Addison Dann, Ally Bourgeois, Amelia Brady, Annelise Dramm, Andrew Scanio, Bethany Clark, Brian Brady, Eleanor Crowley, Forrest Monroe, Griffin Smith, Jesse Izzo, Jillian Clark, Leena Keal, Lucy Thill, Morgan Olsen, Parker Scanio, Robyn Rutgers, Rosemary Crowley, Ruby Smith, Simon Thill, Stephanie Kilbourne-Hill, Sydney Dann, Sylvie Linck and Will Holmlund.

Tickets are general admission and cost $10 for adults and $8 for children. Payment by cash or check only. Box office opens at 5:30 p.m. day of show. Reservations can be made by calling 518-891-1854.

Pendragon Theatre is located at 15 Brandy Brook Ave. in Saranac Lake.
